Do real men use toner in their skincare regime and should they follow the beauty regime women follow of cleanse tone and moisturize?
Well, men or not, their skin is susceptible to dryness as much as women’s are after cleansing. Failing to tone and moisturize after cleansing or washing your face will cause dry skin to produce excess sebum to compensate for the dryness. This leads to blocked pores and pimples or acne.
Men also tend to be more slipshod in their cleansing routine which means some cleanser may not be cleaned off properly which can lead to skin irritations. So, tone after you cleanse to ensure your skin is clean and plumped with moisture lost in the cleansing process!
